2017 🎉
It’s always nice to welcome in a new year, even though instinct is to stay warm, nourish our bodies and hibernate. We for some reason decide it is the best time to set new goals, attempt a ‘free from’ January and make ourselves feel darn right miserable =)
This year I gave into the hibernation, staying warm and nourishing my body albeit with a mainly dark chocolate, tortilla crisp and Rocket & Parmesan diet. Weird!
I’ve spent time with a lot of friends & family which has helped conquer the short days and January blues.
NOW I feel ready to set my new goals and begin the year afresh =)
Hannah’s kick started the year to a great feature in
Psychologies Magazine
& a wonderful mention in USA Today
Both of which I am extremely proud of!
Blossom Yoga and I held another beautiful retreat! I made a yummy yummy Laksa soup and I thought it would be nice to share that with you today‚ a perfect warmer to these cold cold cold nights.
Before Christmas Gemma and I organised a photoshoot for the retreats, it was a long and productive day. We are super excited to be using the new photos on our next ‘Urban Day Retreat’.
On the 21st March join us for a day of ‘Balance’
The last 4 years have been very big years of my life (so far) I have renovated my home, started a business from it, helped it begin its journey, started a new venture with a dear friend, and let personal dreams grow.
I am not going to lie, I’m feeling a bit frazzled. So I am very excited that I am going on my first big trip away. It’s the first for being away from home, work, family and friends.
I hope to be basked in sunshine, immersed in yoga, indulging in food & opening my eyes to sights beyond beauty.
I look forward to telling you all about it when I am home x
