It’s been such a busy 6 weeks.
Busy…. but also fun!
I had a brilliant time hosting 2 yoga retreats with Blossom Yoga. It was a fantastic experience, I thoroughly enjoyed coming up with new recipes and cooking something other than my day to day menu. We focused the first retreat on Digestion, so a vitamin C packed menu accompanied by Miso dressings, Pina Colada Raw Cheesecakes and plenty of Mint Water and Ginger really gave a kick start to a happy tummy. Gemma guided our guests through a wonderful practice leaving everyone feeling refreshed and centered. With the bonus of a home sequence and lunch recipe to take home in their very own ‘inspiration’ jar.
We have had some really lovely feedback and are very much looking forward to hosting our next one after the summer holidays. So please keep an eye on my Instagram feed for the date.
After the yoga retreats I received some wonderful news from Dorset Cereals. Earlier in the year I was voted by their followers to be part of their b&b awards, I was very happy to become the June 2016 winner. Thank you for everyone who voted 😍 ¬†If, however, you didn’t manage to vote for hannah’s please make sure you check in with them here and vote for your favourite July nomination.
After running the b&b for nearly 2 years now, I feel the breakfasts have really come into their own. I now feel confident and happy with the menu I offer at hannah’s.
I have made a few adjustments to my website to help my guests get excited about their stay…. A little Snippet…..Tuck in to hannah’s selection of homemade granolas served with yoghurt and fresh fruit, homemade baked goods and seeded toast with homemade jams. Hannah also provides a main course called her ‘weekend special’ focused around her favourite thing to eat in the morning‚ Eggs. Sometimes using her own recipes you will be offered anything from Smashed Avocado on toast, Tomato Tart, Spinach Waffles all accompanied by Eggs, cooked to your liking.

I am so happy to be serving my breakfasts on such gorgeous crockery from my mums shop. Especially this new black and white number…how can crockery make one so happy!?! Why not pop in to Jane McIntyre Design and Eccentricities and find out for yourself. You are going to burst with excitement…and you will surely want to re decorate 😉!
Thank you for keeping in touch and stopping for a read.
See you soon.
Wishing you all the best,
